Liked: Closeness to the seafront and the Towner Gallery.
Good value for money considering it's an older building
Liked: I arrived late, but the staff still came out and were very kind and helpful. I really appreciated lots of tea bags, sugar and milk in my room as opposed to the usual 2 bags per day. As a big tea drinker - this was a really generous little extra. Really appreciated all the fantastic art everywhere in the communal areas and in the room, and the effort that was put in providing some history and explanation about the art (in my room case it was Monét). The effort to doing this was well noticed and a pleasant add!:-)
Disliked: Nothing. Some water were collected at the bottom of the shower, but for the price I paid - cannot complain. The t.v. is situated in a funny place when walking between the bed and the bathroom, but it's on a wall arm that can be easily moved.

Liked: Everything! This is the only hotel we stay when we come to Eastbourne! Staff is lovely! Location is excellent, the rooms are always nice.
Disliked: No complaints from us!

Liked: The staff were very friendly and professional. The room was very comfortable. Our requests were met. The breakfsst was delicious. Great location for theatres and restaurants. 5 minute walk to town centre and seafront. Very reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend.
A comfortable stay after a warm welcome
Liked: The hotel was easy to find, the welcome was friendly and helpful. Room was a very generous size, with a sideways glimpse of the sea. Plenty of hot water, good shower. Large, comfortable bed. Eating places recommended for the evening. Breakfast smelled delicious, but I did not partake.
Disliked: A brighter light by the bed would have been good.
