Great value, large flat, great location
Liked: Staff very helpful and friendly. Location is perfect for seafront and town.
Disliked: Electric meter was a bit inconvenient, freezer box leaked as it defrosted. Shower instructions could be clearer.
Liked: The staff that greeted us were super helpful and friendly, it’s a great location and a very short distance from the sea and a nice street! The apartment was a good size for the two of us.
Disliked: It was a lot more outdated than expected - the hallway did smell strongly of damp and smoke, which suggested others were smoking and this crept into our room on occasion.
Hidden charges + Electric coin meter for lights 🤣. Anyone remember Mr Rigsby?
Liked: Original price on Booking.com. (Before hidden charges were added)
Disliked: The property wanting a £100 "cash" deposit. Plus expecting me to use an electric money meter to turn the lights on. Disgraceful and very unprofessional. Never in my 30 years of working away have I ever came across such a set up. It should have been made crystal clear when booking. Plus no free parking as "suggested". I cancelled and booking.com gave me a refund in my bank next day. Plus they offered to pay any additional costs I incurred through false advertising. So fair play booking.com If not for your professional service I would have been in serious problems. And Devonshire house; Advertise clearly charges, electric meter, and parking is for a fee. Matter of principle that I cancelled. Totally wrong and unprofessional.

Liked: Pleasant short stay out of season.Great break. Beds comfortable. Shower great. Good value. Central location. Quiet, no noise from other residents.
Disliked: Dated decore. Needs a bit of TLC. Needs new microwave. But generally OK.
