Liked: A lovely, quiet, and clean place with welcoming staff, excellent hospitality, and a fresh, well-organized breakfast. The property has a charming vintage feel, though some areas may seem a little dated. It’s also worth noting that the large room is located in the basement, which may not suit everyone. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and would still give it a top rating.

    Disliked: All good

I would like to personally hank the family and staff for making our stay the pleasure that it was

Liked: Breakfast was continental or cooked bacon scrambled egg and sausage. There was plenty of it and it was well presented. There was a choice of tea coffee and juice. You could also have yogurt, cereal, bread or toast. The room was clean and comfortable with a small fridge which was ideal to cool our water before our walks. The location was perfect for quick access to town and the sea front which was about 300 meters away which would be ideal for families visiting to go on the beach.

Disliked: The only issue which is of course is out of the owners control was parking. Having said that we were able to find parking further up the road and were able to move the car closer the following day so it was really no hardship.

Liked: Check in process was very good, automated and simple. Fridge and fan in room, either well. Continental part of breakfast was excellent, lots of choice. Coffee and tea very good. Shower products very good quality.

Disliked: Cooked breakfast was tasty but had to ask for sausages and scrambled egg to be replenished, as they were empty when we arrived downstairs for breakfast at 9am. Room had very dated decor, patchy paint repairs, curtains falling off rail due to missing hooks. Black out blinds or similar would be better. Needs renovation.

Disliked: Not much hot water available when I wanted a bath in the evening

Liked: The communication was very good, Andrew responded quickly and was very helpful. Unfortunately all we could get was a comfort double room and it was small and the bathroom tiny. That said, we asked for a quiet room and it was. Good choices for breakfast but things run out quickly and you have to wait for staff to appear for it to be refilled. There's no obvious way to contact them.

Disliked: The room was too small for the price and the king size bed was really 2 single mattresses together with a ridge in the middle. Lack of way to contact staff at breakfast. Very commercial and impersonal. Reception only open 2-3pm you have to call otherwise.
