Exceptional
Wife and I always stay here when staying in Eastbourne
Liked: Amazing staff, Nice rooms and comfortable bed. Great pub nice beer and wines.
Disliked: Nothing
Another wonderful, comfortable stay at the Pilot, with excellent food and accommodation
Liked: This is the latest of several stays at The Pilot Inn and it was, as always, excellent. The location is ideal, close to hills for those of us who love hiking and the town and transport for when we wanted to explore locally. The room was light, beautifully decorated, clean and very comfortable, with everything we needed. The food was excellent, and when we asked for slightly earlier breakfasts, the chef accommodated on both days. It is lovely to see the same members of staff each time we visit, all friendly, helpful and listening to the rapport and banter between them is just lovely, (and rare to find.) Thank you.
Disliked: Nothing.
Pilot Inn is a warm and inviting retreat on the coast
Liked: The Inn was a sheer delight. The decor was warm and inviting, The staff were all cheerful and welcoming. The room we had was wonderful with a lovely claw foot tub. The location was perfect -- removed from the hustle and bustle of downtown but not out in the middle of nowhere so a walk into town was easy enough and lovely along the waterfront nearby
Disliked: The building was older so understandably and to no fault of the owners or staff, the stairs were a bit narrow and cumbersome to manage our luggage. This was something we did expect however so really fault there, but definitely something guests should be aware and prepared for. I am sure we could have had help with our luggage had we asked however!!
Liked: Lisa was lovely 😊 we really enjoyed out trip, food was amazing, staff are lovely, room was so nice and comfortable.
Liked: Use this place when ever in the area on business.
Liked: Parking and able to cater fir gluten free.
