Fabulous
A delightful cottage
Liked: The cottage is lovely and beautifully located on a quiet road, just a few yards from an excellent village pub with great food and quiet clientele. Nicely equipped kitchen, which could do with a little crockery sort. Car parking is generally easy except in the evening when the pub is full.
Disliked: At 6ft I did catch the back of my head every time I came down stairs. But that's the price of a 300 year old cottage. What was a puzzle was the badly overgrown state of the back garden. It looks as if it hadn't been tended in months, when it could be beautiful like the two gardens next door. We were in number 93. Dog owners should be aware that Eastbourne beach is not open to dogs in the summer. The nearest is Pevensey Bay which isn't too far. But walking the dogs on Eastbourne promenade became a challenge since they naturally wanted to get onto the beach.
Nice cottage for up to four people
Liked: Very clean, nice quiet location plus a lovely touch as wine & chocolates on arrival. A nice home from home while we were attending a week-long event in Eastbourne.

Liked: Nice location. Cottage was great for 2 of us. The main bedroom was roomy and comfortable. Shower was good.
Disliked: Back garden was okay to sit in but the garden furniture needed a clean down and luckily we had seat pads to sit on as we were in Eastbourne for the tennis - without them, it wouldn’t have been very comfy.
Liked: Nice location and good room
Disliked: It could do with more general maintenance
Liked: Straight forward communication and very prompt responses. Shower is great. Easy enough street parking right outside the house, and if it's full there is more street parking just down the road. Very kind to leave a bottle of red and some M&S biscuits!
Disliked: This is a bit 'extra' but given there was a Nespresso machine it would have been great for a small handful of pods to be available for guests - but no big issue!
Liked: Decent sized bedrooms, comfortable and ideal for a short stay
