  Lovely get-away lodging in the woods

  Liked: We stayed in the log cabin. It was a wonderful rest to be in a cabin in such a rural area, surrounded by trees and streams. (Even in Scotlands wild wind and pounding rain!) The host responded quickly with questions we had about heating etc.

  Disliked: Unfortunately the bed was lumpy and were pillows hard. I woke up with a headache both mornings. We could feel the springs in the sofa before it was even opened so that wasn’t an option. Also, as we were required to thoroughly clean the kitchen and strip the bedding ourselves (which want a problem,) it seems unnecessary to have such a late, 4pm check-in, and early 10 am check-out time, even though this was posted before we rented.

  Quiet, comfortable location close to the mountains

  Liked: Quiet and secluded but close enough for walking and places to eat. Very clean and comfortable. I especially liked the comfy bunks with a handy shelf and privacy of a curtain.

  Peaceful Mountain Escape

  Liked: Exceptional spot just outside Glencoe Village. Beautiful walks, super-friendly staff, a welcoming atmosphere, clean facilities, reliable, safe, and dog-friendly. Brilliant.

  Disliked: I liked everything about the property. There wasn’t a single bad thing.

  Disliked: They have a 30page rule book when you arrive, you miss one and they charge 250gbp. Too many rules so not a for a group who wants to party or not worry about rules
