    Another enjoyable stay

Liked: Room as usual was very good; the bonus was the bath, which my wife very much appreciated. Requested a bottom floor room which was accomodated, in fact they even put us in tthe same room which we were in last time, as itts near an exitt which made the stay even more enjoyable for my wife, who has limited mobility. We even had a little welcome-back platter, which was a nice touch.

Disliked: Only one thing to whine about was the guests who were upstairs from us; they sounded like a herd of elephants from check-in until nearly midnight. Then again, early 0630 in the morning. Obviously, that has nothing to do with the hotel or staff

    Wonderful atmosphere with real fireplace

Liked: Exceptional location and really comfy rooms. We enjoyed the amazing guest lounge with real fire place and excellent cocktails from the bar.

Disliked: Nothing - we had a great time.

Liked: Nice views from the restaurant

Disliked: Appreciate its an old building but feels like everything needs a refresh. Showers take a while to heat and the fixtures are wobbly. The bar in the restaurant and the lounge areas were full of dirty glasses which didnt get removed for hours. Very much felt like a tourist churn hotel rather than a luxury stay. Ok overall but wouldn't stay again.
