  It’s a scam - be careful

Liked: Do not stay at this properly. We paid £400 for a weekend stay in November 2024. The owner cancelled the night before telling us the apartment was flooded and we are now fighting fir a refund - it has been over a month and our calls/messages are being ignored

  Disliked: It’s a scam

  Bad

Liked: Didn’t even go to the property as it’s a scam,

Disliked: The booking online is a scam, stay away. They cancelled it at 1:48am in the morning via WhatsApp and said they would inform booking.com that it wasn’t available. I then contacted booking.com to check this and they hadn’t. They then ignored any messages to them and now I’m having to fight yo get my money back.

It was too dirty and disgusting to stay - a complete scam!!

Liked: AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!! This was a complete scam - my BOOKING.COM confirmation quite clearly stated apartment 206, 16 Silvercroft Street - and I paid £895 on that basis. Instead we were shown to a completely different block and a 37th floor apartment which was dirty, with crumpled beds, dirty linen, no hand soap, no hand towels and very poor decor, food crumbs on the floor and sofa. Dusty table - nothing luxurious about it whatsoever! We refused to stay and were also refused a refund and were told the bed linen was new - clearly not true - and the place had been Inspected - clearly not true. Even their own check-in guide took a video to confirm how bad the place was and told us this wasn’t the first time it had happened. I have obviously escalated this to BOOKING.COM but my next steps are to contact Manchester Police as this is a clear case of misrepresentation, mis- selling and fraud.

Disliked: Please see above - @BOOKING.COM - we trusted you to provide quality accommodation- please refund our money!!

Nice place, but not the best check in experience

Liked: Location great, clean and comfortable. Views were stunning.

Disliked: Check in process was onerous, the need for ID and to meet an agent is less than optimal. Agent showed up 20 mins late, so we were stood waiting outside.

  Exceptional

Liked: On arrival we was upgraded to a high floor 2 bed apartment which overlooked Manchester with an amazing view. The apartment was very clean and spacious with all facilities we needed. On leaving I accidentally left behind my diamond earrings which are very valuable and sentimental to me. When I got home in Sheffield I realised I had left them, I called the host and he did everything in his power to ensure I got them back. He stopped the cleaners going in until he had been in first, sent me videos and pictures of my earrings and some other item I left behind and settle my mind to let me know they are safe. As I live in Sheffield, the host kindly offered to take them to the post office and post them back to me, I tried to send some money over and a thankyou gift but they kindly cover all charges of the postage. Even sent me all the postage proof and my diamond earring and other belongs was back with me the next day. I have never come across someone so genuine and honest in my time of staying in booked accommodation and I could recommend them enough. It’s hard to come by genuine n kind people like the host is here and knowing my valuables are safe under the circumstances of leaving them behind and actually getting back is something you very rarely come across. I would recommend 100% and will book all my stays with them when need moving forward. Thankyou so much!
