  Overall it was simply quite nice!

  Liked: Firstly communication with the host was excellent! I couldn't have asked for anything better. Breakfast was not included but the kitchen was adequately equipped and very comfortable to use. With basically three 'chefs' in my family who love cooking, this was quite nice. The property is quite roomy, was very clean and adequately furnished. Equipment included a relatively quiet washing machine which came in very handy, nice cooker and oven, microwave, cutlery, basic cooking utensils and more than adequate cleaning products. The river view from the balcony is very nice especially at night. Outdoor sofa quite comfortable for relaxing. In terms of location the area is quiet and there is practically no road noise, however it is not far from a large TESCO store and a LIDL store which is excellent. The Trafford Shopping Centre is also within a short drive and a must to visit.

  Disliked: May not seem important to most people but a decent set of duck feather pillows, cotton protectors and any breathable fabric pillowcase would have been much preferable. The existing pillows are not exactly comfortable. One of the dining room chairs was quite badly stained and totally out of place in the apartment. I doubt if it can be cleaned and suggest it is replaced immediately as it is a definite put off!

  Excellent service and a perfect spot for our short visit

  Liked: A very nice apartment in a nice location. Perfect for visiting football or cricket grounds but also a lovely spot on the canal for walks or taking the tram into town
