Liked: The kind gesture with providing some treats for my son's birthday. We booked this stay on the same day of our check in and all of requests were honored. What a great host and what a pleasant stay we had as a family.

Nice staff, good location, but this was not an apartment (which is what was advertised)

Liked: Breakfast was really good, staff friendly and location is perfect for a couple of days in Manchester

Disliked: We booked through the Booking.com for an apartment - this was not an apartment! What we got was a spartan double room with ensuite bathroom. One small uncomfortable wooden stool and a very basic wooden dining chair. No sofa or even sitting chair and a less than smart tv.

Nothing like the photos – a disappointing stay

Disliked: **Review** We were escaping the storm in Scotland and needed somewhere to rest on our drive down to the Cotswolds. Native Manchester looked perfect: a kitchen, bright and beautiful rooms, exposed brick loft walls, a cosy feel and bedroom windows with a view. I booked one of the top room types, the One Bedroom Apartment with Sofa Bed, and even told my partner we'd finally get to shelter from the storm somewhere spacious, warm and comfortable. The reality was very different. The apartment looked nothing like the photos. It was dim, with a plain plastered ceiling instead of the brick shown, which took away much of its charm. The kitchen was not fully equipped and there was no coffee machine. The towel warmer was broken. Worst of all, the bedroom smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, and its window faced a corridor. Reception explained that rooms of the same type can have different layouts. I understand rooms may differ in view or position, but I didn't expect one to differ this much from the listing. I was extremely disappointed. I wouldn't recommend it if you're booking based on the photos. For value, it's fine for a short, quick stay.
