    Liked: The location was ok

Disliked: The room was scruffy We were given the wrong room twice There was building work going on in the hotel I was told by staff the room rate should have been approx £30 due to how poor it was at tje moment yet I was charged over £120

Absolutely disgusting to be charged to stay on an unsafe building site. Don't stay here!

Liked: The hotel was a convenient location for a concert we were going to; less than a ten minutes walk away

Disliked: We booked the hotel over six months ago (when it was The Ainscow Hotel). They emailed the day before we were due to arrive to advise of building work which may disrupt our stay; these are major works which they'd clearly know about for some time and only chose to tell us when we couldn't cancel our stay without losing our money or find anywhere else at a reasonable cost. The hotel is so far below par!! The hotel bedroom door (219) didn't close properly so it stayed ajar all night (which is a massive security issue seeing as there was a child in the room), the TV didn't work, the air con unit dripped all night and there was no parking.

Liked: The room, staff & cleanliness all excellent. Only thing was the loud bangs through the night like bomb going off. There was roadworks throughout the night, early morning. We had booked to be close for an early appointment at BLS over the road & wanted to feel refreshed not travel down early. We were unable to only get few hours sleep that took its toll.

Disliked: Maybe advise customers of this prior.

    ok

    Liked: Lovely & helpful Staff

Disliked: Had to request a room change as we could hear every word the people in the room next to us were saying and could even hear videos from there phone. WALLS VERY THIN!!
