  A very stylish and comfortable place to stay close to Central Manchester. Would Highly recommend

  Liked: Very nice Hotel, with spacious comfortable rooms. Only about 10 minute walk into the main shopping area. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. The only negative I have is the Restaurant staff were somewhat inattentive and I had to wait a very long time between my starter and my main course having to go seek the waiters to find out what was happening, which detracted very much from my experience, also I felt it was rather bad form having to pay a 10 pound deposit to book into the restaurant when I was a guest at the hotel. I’m still not sure if I received the 10 pound deducted from my bill given the complicated way in which bills are laid out.

  Disliked: Did not like the system with the mini bar and the snacks whereby if you remove an item it is automatically charged. I accidentally picked up four items from the snack bar to examine them before I realized this was the case. But I informed the staff what had happened and I did not get charged. A normal mini bar fridge in the room would be better and then you could put some items of your own in the fridge without incurring a charge for removing items that are payable..

  Liked: Everything about our stay was brilliant from pulling up outside to leaving. The staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The room was amazing so spacious and had everything you'd need to enjoy your stay. The breakfast again was spot on plenty of options and again staff were very helpful and assertive

  Liked: stayed a few times, but hotel looking dated now.

  Disliked: Breakfast was cold, no glass's for juice. no wine in mini bar. cars parked in the EV bays so could not charge. Overall going down in standards compared to the earlier years i visited.

The rooms at The Lowry Hotel have walk-in wardrobes, a smart TV with sky channels and an private bathroom. The bathrooms feature a walk in power shower and high-end amenities.

Guests can dine at the River Restaurant which serves A à la carte style menu with a variety of locally sourced ingredients. A sun-trap terrace with beautiful views of the river Irwell and has views across the city. Alongside the River Restaurant, the Lowry Lounge is a versatile bar space with cocktails and bar snacks, you can even enjoy live entertainment featuring local artists.

Manchester Cathedral and The People’s History Museum are both just a 5-minute walk away. Private parking is available in our secure car-park, which holds up to 85 cars.
