  Excellent location if you want a night in canal street

  Liked: Great location to where we wanted to be and the room was really nice with. Good bed and facilities

  Disliked: The shower overflowed as the drain was blocked and the breakfast was nice but not what we wanted was just a continental breakfast we would have preferred a proper sit down breakfast

  Fabulous place. Stayed for last 8 years but becoming a little tired

  Liked: Smelt lovely. Great friendly staff

  Disliked: Quite noisy the room above us were doing a tap dance from early on to late night then again from 7 am!!! Bathroom in need of refurb. No grout in bathroom tiles and broken tiles

Please note that construction work is going on nearby and some rooms may be affected by noise.

The cancelation deadline is 15:00 (see the 'Cancelation' section for day).

Guests booking Party Packages may experience noise at night due to loud music played at the bar.

While Velvet Hotel does it's best to minimize noise disruption, due to it's location in Manchester’s Gay Village, some external noise is unavoidable during busier periods (including Tuesday, Friday and Saturday evenings). The hotel reception can provide ear plugs on request.

Village Brasserie is currently closed for refurbishment works. The hotel reception can provide alternative restaurant recommendations. Velvet Bar remains open for drinks only.
