  Value wise an ok stay, fine apartment. Check in and check out information completely missing and not shared upfront in a

  Liked: Decent value and a fine apartment.

  Disliked: No info about check in and check out, which didn’t feel great waiting in the rain with our kids and for a while thinking we got scammed. It says family friendly but no travel cot or else could be provided.

  Poor communication and uncomfortable flat

  Liked: The property was clean.

  Disliked: We were given no instructions as to how to pick up the keys. When we arrived we were given multiple phone numbers, many of whom didn’t pick up. It was very hard to get a clear answer as to where to pick the keys up. We used their parking space and again very poor communication and the communication was passed between multiple people. We were told there would be a sofa bed and bedding for it provided. There was no sofa bed and there was no duvet cover for the duvet. There were also not enough towels for the amount of guests we had. Despite us saying in advance how many of us there would be. We were told there would be WiFi but there was no information anywhere regarding the password. The property was clean but the customer service and poor communication meant that the experience was stressful and we wouldn’t recommend staying here.

  Wouldn’t go back

  Liked: The property set up is strange and the parking is elsewhere but my car was safe.

  Disliked: I didn’t like that the flat stunk of weed. The smell was very bad and pungent. The beds were not comfy and it’s October and cold but we had flies in the apartment. There were holes in the walls dirty hand prints and the covers were dirty. It was just for one night but I wouldn’t book again. I felt I was in some weird trap house.

  Good location... bad communication

  Liked: Clean spacious apartment and within walking distance of media city

  Disliked: The apartment block and room smelled like cannabis. Lots of strong air fresheners around the apartment to mask the smell. Lack of contact with the person who was dropping off the key. No reception area. Had no idea which block our apartment was in. Apparently there are 3 buildings called X1. The mobile number given was not being answered. I had to send a message on booking,com to get a response from the owner. Eventually a caretaker let us into the building, the guy who was dropping the key off actually walked straight past us in reception. It was only when I was given another mobile number to call that he came back down. I had to ring again when we were leaving for someone to collect the key. He said he would be 10 minutes, which turned to 30 minutes and our taxi was waiting. Wont be staying again
