Exceptional
Fantastic for a short break, could have stayed longer, sitting in front of a log fire in the lounge with a glass of wine
Liked: Lovely boutique hotel, very friendly, excellent atmosphere, very attentive staff
Disliked: Property was in good condition, room was well appointed, warm, great coffee in room… no complaints
Fantastic staff, delicious food & spotlessly clean
Liked: Traditional features and open fires
Disliked: Very steep stairs to attic rooms
Liked: Friendly staff. Comfortable. Great room. Great decor. Overall, excellent and no complaints, however, a wee bit on the pricey side.
Disliked: Only the bill (£££)!!
Non fussy lovely property
Liked: The lounge and meals were exceptional. The views from the property and quality of breakfast for the price were outstanding.
Disliked: It was annoying getting pitched for dinner over and over again. Although I did hear the dinner was fantastic. The staff, while nice, didn’t really go out of their way to be helpful, with the exception of the night manager. There’s no lift but they did help us take our luggage up and down which was nice.
Lovely hotel with excellent restaurant on site
Liked: Lovely hotel within walking distance of the town centre. Great parking!
Disliked: Nothing
