Fabulous
Old fashioned hotel- good for walkers not looking for a flashy hotel. Basic but clean
Liked: Polite friendly staff, great location - old school style hotel
Disliked: Dated interior - the decor very old fashioned in the bedroom (had a twin room) - it’s basic and really wouldn’t take much to upgrade it
The hotel was fine for what we wanted to do with our one-night stay
Liked: The location was perfect for accessing the Pitlochry Festival Theatre, which we walked to to see a play. Also a good point from which to explore the village of Pitlochry on foot.
Disliked: The carpeting in the hotel was worn and faded and could use replacing (yes, an expensive thing to do...)
Liked: The room was warm, clean and tidy. Room and bathroom were both a good size. We had a lovely breakfast included in the room rate.

Disliked: On first appearances hotel is dated however we had a very comfortable stay and staff were excellent.
