Great accomodation and wonderful host in beautiful home

Liked: Melissa is a wonderful host. I don't think one could ask for any more.

Disliked: We would go back again to stay longer so we could explore Portsmouth more. The Maritime museum needs more than one day.

Liked: Melissa was a lovely host and very welcoming to her beautiful home. Only stayed the one night in order to complete the Great South Run. For which it was in a great location within 20 minutes walk of the start and end point. And is easily walkable to both Southsea and Portsmouth. If staying in the area longer would gladly have extended, or if returning, would gladly stay again.

Unique and fabulous in a great area

Liked: We loved everything about our stay here, the room and the whole house is fabulous. The host Melissa is warm and welcoming, gave us some really good ideas on places to go and we ended up having some fabulous Thai food based on the recommendation. Breakfast was filling and the whole stay was wonderful. Thank you.

Disliked: There is nothing not to like!

Wonderful stay in a delightful home

Liked: Wonderful stay in this quirky, comfortable and delightful house! We had a very warm welcome from Melissa who showed us round and made us feel very ‘at home’. The decor is enchanting and there are plants everywhere. We stayed in The Bike Shed and had several rooms to relax in, as the lovely lounge was for guests to use and there was also a balcony overlooking the garden. The bed was comfy, there was plenty of hot water for the shower, and we could make tea / coffee in our room or the kitchen. The location is quiet but the No2 bus goes to the Historic Dockyard from across the road. We also enjoyed an evening at the excellent Indian, Desi, just 2 minutes walk away. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us Melissa - hope to see you again soon!

    Disliked: Nothing 😊
