  Bright and spacious apartment in good location for visiting the Historic Dockyard

  Liked: The apartment was bright and spacious and had all the facilities needed for a short or longer stay (although bring your own hairdryer). Although we were mainly visiting the Historic Dockyard in Portsmouth, this apartment in Gosport was much better value for money than the hotels in Portsmouth itself and the ferry across was just two minutes away. The apartment looks straight onto the water so there’s always something interesting to see. The apartment was a pleasant and comfortable place to come back to at the end of the day. Although we booked via Booking.com, the arrangements for entry and damages deposit were handled by a letting company. These requirements seemed a bit strict and off putting. However their staff were very friendly and helpful and as entry was via a key box there were no problems in obtaining access on arrival.

  Disliked: Like most towns in the UK, Gosport town centre is a bit run down with little in the way of shops and restaurants although it does have a couple of supermarkets within walking distance. There was a bit of noise from the street below but it quietened down eventually.

  Liked: Place is in a brilliant location, close to shops, bus station & ferry, plenty of kitchen equipment, Towels etc, clean & tidy with a brilliant view

  Disliked: The stairs going up to 3rd floor not for the faint hearted with suitcases and bags

  Very good

  Liked: Liked the location close to restaurants and shops.

  Disliked: Door knobs in the hallway could be changed to leavers as caught my hand between the door knobs and door frame very painful. And no parking facilities.

  7 Night stay

  Liked: The view was lovely, was very clean and they have thought of everything, there wasn't anything we needed that wasn't there, location wise very close to shops, banks, foot ferry, aldi pubs coffee shops and cafes

  Disliked: Being at the bottom of the high street it was noisy, bunch of teenagers every night making lots of noise until 5am most days, shreiking arguing, shouting etc, not too bad if in the bedrooms but if in the kitchen/living room area then very loud, being above shops I was concerned about noise bit that was ok just when they have deliveries it was noisy early morning as they were at the back (bedrooms ate on the back)
