  Basic and functional

Liked: Location was brilliant. The last receptionist we met was warm and engaging.

Disliked: Staff were indifferent. Accommodation as expected was basic and functional, but carpet in room 158 was threadbare and moth-eaten - it should have been replaced perhaps five years ago! The hot buffet breakfast was tepid.

Our second very enjoyable stay this year at Sarum College!

Liked: The breakfast choices were very comprehensive. The pastries were particularly tasty! Svetlana on Reception was very helpful and friendly. The bed was comfortable. Accessible parking was a boon. The view from our room to the Cathedral was stunning!

Ideal location in a very different building

Liked: The location was perfect. It was great to park the car for free. The breakfast was excellent. The view of the cathedral from our room was magical and the atmosphere calm and peaceful. I’d definitely recommend

Disliked: If you like to sleep in late this may not be ideal. Breakfast is 7-9am and you can hear people in the corridor going to the breakfast room. Didn’t bother us though.
