Exceptional
Lovely stay though, superb location
Liked: Location is excellent and real bonus to have a parking space as well. The advert doesn’t say it had a utility with a downstairs toilet which was handy as we were travelling with someone with limited mobility. So please ensure you advertise this
Disliked: It just needs a few homely touches and cleaning. Lack of mirrors and no where in the 2nd bedroom to put/ hang your clothes. A more deep clean needs to occur for edges of carpets, extractor fans etc. it really would be an excellent rating all around if this was addressed. Also hard to find so ideally add what3words to the arrival pack information you are sent.
Liked: The property was lovely! It was in a great location, it was clean and super comfortable. The room we were in was spacious, and the rooms really enjoyed the breakfast. The staff were super kind and helpful. We’d absolutely come back to Bagdale next time we’re in the country.

We loved the original features and the hotel was a two minute walk from the centre of Whitby
Liked: It was beautiful and maintained so many original features. Steeped in history and a beautiful four poster bed made it extra special.
