    It was just so perfect

Liked: It had everything we needed. Place for my little dog to excise. Close to the town of Whitby. Nice and quiet at night.

Liked: Lovely location at the top of the hill. Useful little kitchen with practical appliances and a delicious welcome pack. Comfortable dining room and lounge. The bedroom with double bed plus a single bed was very comfortable and had a lovely view.

Disliked: In the second bedroom, the bed was less comfortable. The addition of somewhere to put a case or bag would be of benefit. The sun rises on this side and the thin, light coloured curtains did not block the early dawn; light blocking curtains would facilitate a better night's sleep.

Really liked Whitby and the coastal walks. Fantastic Fish and chips at the Fish Box in Robin Hood Bay. Good beers too in

Liked: The location was brilliant and the view from the lounge over the bay was really lovely and very picturesque. Also a nice, homely feel to the cottage.

Disliked: The pillows weren’t fluff up able, but that’s all!

Liked: Our third year running in this beautiful holiday home. An absolute gem of a location with a view to take your breath away. The cottage is lived in and so cosy, really like a home from home. The milk, flowers and cookies were much appreciated. Rebecca was super helpful with an issue I had before check in. Thank you so much.

Disliked: Nothing, except having to come home 😊

A repeat visit to Coastguards and we weren't disappointed

Liked: Location is excellent. Amazing views over to the beach from the living room. Round the corner from the Abbey and Whitby Brewery, and only a few minutes walk from the centre of the Town. Parking for one vehicle, and easy access in and out of the property. Property was clean and equipped with everything we needed for a great holiday.

Disliked: We travelled with teenagers, and found the WIFI couldn't cope with the amount of streaming they were doing (but middle aged parents didn't have an issue). Also, despite the property saying it had an outdoor shed for extra storage, we weren't able to access the code to get in (despite numerous emails and calls). Would recommend hosts put this information somewhere in the property so it's accessible once you've gained entry. We had 3 bikes to store and had to keep these in the dining room which wasn't ideal.
