Fabulous
Liked: The cottage was warm comfortable and welcoming. Ideally placed within minutes of the main area of Whitby.

Disliked: A bit nitpicking but a few quid spent at John Lewis or similar updating the kitchen equipment and cutlery/crockery would perfect it: specifically a bread knife, ideally a decanter and generally matching the sets Otherwise super!

Disliked: This property is the worst we have ever experienced. I don’t understand how it has any good reviews. Filthy carpets. Sticky floors. Dirty kitchen area, fridge and freezer and extractor over the cooker very dirty. We couldn’t cook there. Shower room leaks into the living room, we were unsure if it was the toilet or shower water leaking, either way not acceptable. Shower has huge build up of black mould both inside and outside of the cubicle. Windows are either painted shut or locked shut, couldnt open them, which is a health and safety hazard. It was very warm whilst there and we were unable to let any fresh air in. Mould on blinds. Bedding and towels old and need replacing. All the furniture is past its best and shabby. There were previous guests dirty belongings left in the property, meaning the cleaner hadn’t done a thorough job!. WiFi is very poor. We were unable to contact the owners and have since raised a complaint with booking.com as the photos online are clearly old and misleading and the risk to guests is unacceptable. So upset it ruined our holiday.
