Fabulous
Disappointing
Liked: No staff, as expected, other than housekeeping who kept the room and bathroom very clean. Exceptionally good shower and plentiful hot water
Disliked: Room was smallish with comfortable bed but very dated and shabby furniture. No table or chairs, just one stool at the dressing table. The room was of a very poor quality seaside B&B, certainly not worthy of £100 per night
Highly recommended and great value for money
Liked: Friendly staff, excellent location and parking which is a real bonus in Whitby. Great powerful shower as well.
Disliked: I couldn’t get the towel rail to work on our bathroom. Not that it was cold just needed to dry some beach clothes.

Liked: It was clean and the bed was comfy
Disliked: I was in room 33 and I could hear people walking above me and floorboards creaking all night long. I was dropped off at Foxton and didn’t realise I had to walk down to the hotel to check in until I got there. The hill is steep and cobbled so it was difficult to navigate with a pushchair and a suitcase. It was a lengthy wait to check in however I appreciated the receptionist helping me back up the hill. When I checked out I fed back that I was unable to get any sleep due to the other guests and creaky floorboards but he was silent, no apology or justification which was rude. I wouldn’t of written this review if my feedback had been heard on check out.
Liked: Comfortable, central & clean. Good on site parking.
Disliked: Not the hotel’s fault but extremely noisy residents in room next door at night.
