Disliked: Sofa bed was advertised as a double but wasn’t big enough for 2 teens (3/4 size bed) so had to go purchase a blow up bed. Maybe penthouse description could advise how many flights of stairs you need to climb. No fan/ aircon available in penthouse through summer months. Glad we brought one with us.
Noisy guests spoil the stay
Liked: Lovely kitchen and living area. Great views of the abbey
Disliked: The upstairs guests were loud resulting in us getting very little sleep due to banging doors and other loud noises. Our 10 month old baby kept waking up during the night due to the noise.
Needs massive improvement
Liked: Pros- The size of the property was brilliant, lots of room for a family of 4. The living room was spacious and comfortable. Showers was powerful. Communication from host and stay was really good.
Disliked: Cons- Cleanliness issue- floors was dirty (specially batheroom), walls needed a full refresh, dirty pots in cupboard. Walls had alot damp in bedroom downstairs and scuff marks. Maintaining- the cooker racks was broken inside so they just turned a rack upside at the bottom of the cooker, so they was no levels to cook, therefore we was unable to be self catering here, which resulted us to eating out alot. Things was broken, I.e wooden chairs in living room, cooker, blind in main bedroom upstairs was broken but when you looked behind it the window was full of condensation. The boiler kept packing in (3 times) which left us with no hot water so we had to keep going to the outer shed and restarting the boiler.
