Fabulous
Liked: Great location and clean. Good instructions from the owners.
Disliked: The mattress was not very good quality and it was overpriced.
Very welcoming hosts, prompt responses from phone calls and texts etc
Liked: Very heart of the small narrow cobbled roads, ideal for activities pub’s restaurants shopping etc
Disliked: The narrow several sets of stairs, NO DECAF DRINKS AVAILABLE!!
Loved Whitby not sure i woukd stay in the poppy cottage again

Liked: Lovely room and en-suite. Warm and cosy.
Disliked: While being so central has its advantages, people are so noisy!
Gorgeous night in Whitby
Liked: Perfect centralised location for all the tourist spots. Being Room 4 we were at the top of the cottage and we couldnt hear anything of the footfall outside. Honestly it was perfect for our needs. Really quiet at night. Comfortable beds. Lovely clean room and en suit.
Disliked: If I had to find a criticism I would say there are a lot of stairs and the en suit is a bit disorientating as the floor slopes. But these are very minor criticisms and completely understandable due to the age of the building!
