Good
Could be a much better with a lick of paint, and care and attentions when presenting food
Liked: Location was excellent. Staff friendly and helpful.
Disliked: The property is old and tired rooms in desperate need of decoration. Breakfast served on cold plates making food cold.
Liked: The staff are really friendly and welcoming. We were shown to our room and given instructions about our stay. Fantastic breakfast. 15% off food and drink throughout our stay which was a nice surprise. The room was nice and clean.
Disliked: We stayed in the twin room the beds were a bit uncomfortable, could do with mattress topper.
Lovely place to stay, great location central to Whitby great views all in all a lovely place to visit and stay

Disliked: Nothing we didn’t like, we felt the room would be improved with a little bit of a refresh with small touches however it was clean and comfortable.

Served a purpose for the stay
Liked: Location was great right in the centre
Disliked: The mattress in the room was really thin, very uncomfortable night sleep. Shower was really small not much room to turn around. There was no advocado for both days we stayed, they also ran out of eggs, most the the breakfast menu was made from eggs.
Central location
Liked: The view from the room was amazing. The staff were friendly
Disliked: The shower was either a dribble or on highnpower erratic from cold to hot. Black mould above the shower. Radiator needed bleeding started making banging noises from 7am. Needs attention like the holes in the wall where the TV used to be fixed should be filled in and painted over.

Please note that there is live entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights and there may be noise in the rooms.
Rooms on the first floor are partially obscured by a balcony.
