Liked: One of the nicest stays in the Lake District. Clean apartment with a lot of amenities and very cosy. Comfortable beds, and it was ideal for us with our 3 children. Excellent location with a minute's drive to the lake, ideal for visiting Ambleside and Grasmere. Clear instructions and a very responsive host.

Disliked: Nothing at all. Perfect stay.

We had a lovely stay, the apartment was lovely but unfortunately we were only there for a short time

Disliked: It would have been better if there had been somewhere to walk the dog without having to use the main road, as you had to walk very near to the traffic and we couldn’t access the lake from our side as it looked like work was being done at the roadside so we had to use the car to take the dog somewhere safe to run about.

  Great break away

Liked: Lovely apartment for family of 5 with 2 bathrooms. Easy to park. Good location

Disliked: Heard upstairs occupants walking, moving chairs but perhaps they were just heavy on their feet. Only bothered us one evening as were out for most of day
