  Lovely B&B in a great location but you'd have to be a hobbit to enjoy the shower

  Liked: Breakfast was great, room was good and the people were very nice.

  Disliked: The waist-high shower was a problem but slightly mitigated by the spa bath. I've no idea why they didn't arrange for the shower to be attached higher up the wall.

  A perfect stay in the beautiful Lake District

  Liked: One of our favorite stays of the trip. Great location for an easy walk into town, as well as on the road to other villages for day trips. Beautifully appointed, stellar hosts. Bed was so comfortable, towels were good sized, view was stunning from the Coniston room. Large and modern bathroom, while maintaining charm. Loved being able to sit and have a drink downstairs. Breakfast was plentiful, lots of great choices, and presented beautifully. Nothing out of order at all. Well done, Jonathan and Caroline!

  Excellent Stay

  Liked: We’ve just spent two wonderful days in Windermere and had the pleasure of staying at Cedar Manor. The standard throughout was excellent, with real attention to detail and comfort. Breakfast was superb and very well managed, setting us up perfectly for the day. We would highly recommend Cedar Manor to anyone visiting the Windermere area.
