  The whole lodge felt tired and scruffy. Mold in several rooms. Would not stay here again

  Disliked: The property was not clean. One of the quilts in the children’s room was stained excessively with bodily fluids including large blood stains. Disgusting. Beds in other room were very worn and uncomfortable. Double bed covers were uncomfortable also. Sofas were not clean and under the main cushions full of dirt and debris. Lounge smelt of ‘dogs’. Definitely not a ‘Jaw Dropping lodge’. Difficult to find in the dark on first arrival day. Reception not helpful as ‘privately hired’!

  Great property, lovely location

  Liked: Property was lovely and spacious and in a great location.

  Disliked: Everything was great the only negative I have is that some areas were a little dirty. Bathroom floor in the corners for example

  Disliked: The lodge was not clean, cobwebs and spiders everywhere, the ensuite bathroom smelt strongly of urine, the bathmat was over the radiator and smelt badly of urine, the cleanliness was terrible the skirting boards were covered in dust

  Liked: Location fantastic. Lodge is easy access from the park and to the lake.

  Disliked: Lodge looking tired. Unclean, cobwebs everywhere not been cleaned properly prior to our visit. Mucky underwear left in bedroom draw from previous people. I would assume its plenty of time to clean as check out is at 10AM and check in is at 4PM. Things broken. Washing machine very smelly, washed our clothes then had to take to the launderette to re wash as they stank of foist. Decking very unsteady in places. (maybe Joist beneath is broken) Decking being burnt in places (has been like this for the last 3 years as we've stayed in the lodge many times) Hot tub cover broken resulting in only certain people being able to uncover then cover back up. (again it has been like this for some time as we've stayed here previous years) This lodge is very over priced for its condition. Big weeds almost a tree growing through the steps to access the lodge. No hoover this time or sweeping brush to clean floors.
