  Enjoyable short break

  Liked: Beautiful location (mile and a half from Bowness) so quieter. Spotlessly clean, comfy bed and good shower. Lovely staff

  Disliked: We were in room 121 which overlooked car park would have been nice to overlook garden.

  A lovely oasis-like property on the outskirts of Bowness-On-Windermere

  Liked: Lindeth Howe is a beautiful property with lovely gardens. It was great how close it was to Bowness-on-Windermere and central to the Lakes while being a secluded oasis away from the hustle and bustle. The staff were all warm, helpful, and accommodating. The bed was comfortable and it was a very nice room in general.

  Disliked: Although the breakfast was yummy, the scrambled eggs were crumbly. They didn’t stay on the toast (which was in varying states of under- and over-toasted) and needed a spoon to eat. I should have asked for something else at the time, which I’m sure the staff would have provided gladly, but I didn’t and that’s my own fault. Everything else was very tasty so it’s not a huge deal and I wasn’t sure if I should bring it up or not since it’s all about personal taste.

  This was our fourth stay at the hotel and we had a very enjoyable holiday as we always do

  Liked: We like the fact that there are ground floor rooms and the parking is very close to the property for disabled guests. The staff are very nice and always willing to help when this is required. There is a large well kept garden which is lovely to sit and relax in. The property is also close to local tourist attractions and shops.

  A lovely relaxing stay in great surroundings with excellent food

  Liked: The staff were friendly and helpful. Special mention to Jodie and the new man on Reception that had only been there two weeks. The food was excellent. The Sunday morning falconry was great too.

  Disliked: Our bed was way too soft and uncomfortable.
