  Liked: Very close to the cruises and highstreet for all shopping and restaurants

  Disliked: Maybe needs better matress. Just fuzzy cause got bad back, if not would be fine

  Thank you so much Sandra for your warm hospitality, we thoroughly enjoyed our chats and your hotel

  Liked: Sandra the owner was so accommodating in allowing early access. The room was very large, very comfortable beds (family room) En-suite, fantastic area for a very, short stroll either to the lake or up the high street. Numerous cafes and restaurants and clothes shops which we took full advantage of for brunch each day and our evening meal. The hotel was set back off the road in a very quiet area and was so convienent that less than 10 mins stroll away was a new fish n chip restaurant. Sandra was an excellent host, giving us ideas where to go, restaurants and trips out. She even put up banners for my birthday and our wedding anniversary in the bedroom. Such a lovely lady!

  Disliked: Did not want to come home. Despite the poor weather(rain) forecast for mid October, we still managed to get out in between showers to eat and shop because the hotel was ideally situated.

Children are welcome at Lingwood Lodge - travel cots and high chairs available. If you are bringing children over 2 years old please make sure you have booked a family room with the correct number of beds. No extra children are allowed in double rooms. A cot can be supplied for a child up to 2 years old in double rooms.

Please do not do laundry in the rooms as this uses all of our hot water. If you do washing we will report to booking.com and you will be asked to leave the premises.

Please do not cook food in the rooms as this causes unpleasant odour in the hotel. If you do this we will report to booking.com and you will be asked to leave the premises.This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties.
