  Perfect stay during raging storm!

  Liked: A beautiful idyllic location of a hotel. Well run by mature staff. We stayed in one of the cabins this time which was fantastic for a 4 night stay. Plenty of space to hang out in, hot tub serviced daily, firewood stacked everyday. Accommodating with room service too when we asked for something off the menu! Thank you! Great for winter retreat…

  Disliked: We couldn’t isolate the 3amp lamp plugs from the overhead lighting to use at night. The ceiling lights were always on. An extra lamp on the table near the adjoining door would be perfect! Same with the bathroom- couldn’t isolate wall lights from the ceiling lights! So it was just annoying… Two other things which would have been brilliant for a 4 night stay- a couple of coat hooks to hang coats/hats to dry out on and have a portable Bluetooth speaker to play music.

  Perfect for a cosy weekend away

  Liked: The property felt cosy, well maintained and had a luxury decor that was welcoming. The staff were friendly and the room was lovely. Such a fun art collection around the property too!

  A relaxing break in a beautiful setting

  Liked: The peaceful setting is beautiful with attention to paid to creating a sophisticated hotel of understated elegance. The staff were professional but also warm and friendly.

  Excellent property with terrific staff who are very hospitable

  Liked: The breakfast staff was excellent and the food was excellent. Reception staff helped us plan our trip very well.

  Liked: The location the view the food are all fantastic.

  Disliked: The mattress is too old and soft, sleeping for two nights my back was painful. The Gym is way too small and do not want to stay there.
