    Ings village near Windermere

Liked: Really nice room. No.4 with a good view. The owners made us very welcome and cooked a great breakfast. We enjoyed our 2 night stopover on our way to Scotland and would happily recommend to others.

    Disliked: Nothing

Ideal for one night, good facilities. Outside eating area would be beneficial

Liked: Convenient location, easy to find with free parking. Dog friendly in bedroom with towels etc supplied. Good breakfast

Disliked: Appreciate dogs are not welcome in main dining room but would be good to offer an alternative - bedroom or outside? My daughter was working in area so was able to dog sit while we ate but otherwise we would have to tag team

Disliked: The only problem was the towel heater on the wall in the bathroom did not work.

Ok for 1 night outside Kendal, if travelling on up to Scotland

Liked: Very nicely presented room and very good en-suite shower room. Cosy little lounge off hall way. Very pleasant dining room with view to garden area. Tea and coffee and biscuits available at any time, tv also in the room.

Disliked: Our bed was like a slab in room 8, unlike our friends in room 5. Unable to sleep as mattress so hard. No alternative milk sachets available in room on tea trays. No non dairy alternatives to butter at breakfast, or porridge on offer if savoury cooked is not for you. Main duel carriageway is busy and might affect your sleep., but they do supply early plugs.

Great location, very comfortable stay. Owners were very friendly and approachable. We will back

Liked: We had an issue with the bathroom in our first room but this was dealt with swiftly and efficiently and we were moved to another room. Room was very comfortable and clean. Good layout in the breakfast room and the full English Breakfast was delicious with all produce being of good quality. Convenient location for us for a couple of days before catching our boat from Heysham.

    Disliked: Not applicable.
