  Enjoyed our stay. It was 1st class!!

  Liked: Great location. No pets allowed, which is a bonus for those of us with allergies, asthma, fear of, or a simple dislike (which is allowed), of domestic beasts (not "fur babies"). I have spent too many nights in hotels watching canines get stuck into their extremities or slurp over a bone or scrap & growl and attack each other in the bar. Lord knows, I've watched a dog lift its leg and urinate at a local bar. So this was refreshing. The staff were grand. Polite & respectful & pleasant. The room was clean & comfortable as was the shower room. The breakfast was good and served quickly. The cakes were scrumptious.

  Disliked: I liked it all. It is exactly as advertised. It's honest...not pretending to be something it's not. A decent B&B with a family vibe. The only down side was the noise from revelers on their way home from the pub but that's a bit of nae luck. Monties is on a busy street! It could maybe do with a wee bit of a minor facelift to the rooms and communal areas. I would happily stay for a week or two and give it "a light touch"...that's all it needs to make it top notch!!

  Breakfast good, staff great, great location, few errors need to be looked at and fixed such as the toilet seat, shower
