  Beautiful accommodation with some issues

  Liked: The property is immaculate and the photos very accurately depict the cleanliness and furnishings. The kitchen is well stocked with crockery and cutlery (although could do with a few more glasses). It's warm and cozy inside.

  Disliked: The park itself is very cramped and the lodge looks immediately onto other properties from all aspects. The description says there is a pool on site - which there is - but what it doesn't say is that you need to book your sessions in advance which meant by the time we got there late on Friday for the weekend, all the slots were taken and the children were unable to swim during our stay. A little more information at the time of booking would have been helpful here. The wifi is terrible and it's not in a great spot for 5G although this is a park wide problem and not a lodge specific problem. The water pressure in the en suite is virtually non existent and whilst I raised this with the owners during my stay I was told this was a pressure problem across the park - not so, water pressure in the other bathroom was fine. On our last morning, the electrics went in the kitchen which took out the small appliances, fridge and hot water. It was a shame as the accommodation in itself was very nice indeed.

  Disliked: Don't have to drive to lake whindmere. Walk or take the bus. Bus stop right outside campsite.

  Parts of it were enjoyable, but I don’t think it is value for money at all

  Liked: The location was great and my children enjoyed the pool. The lodge had a well equipped kitchen and it was very clean.

  Disliked: The bedding, pillows and towels were poor, they didn’t smell clean. Bedding was stained, neighbors were a total nightmare, shower pressure in the en-suite wasn’t good either.

  Liked: The lodge looks very modern. The kitchen is well equipped.

  Disliked: It is advertised as having a pool, but to actually use it you need to register for a specific time and it is almost always full.

  Fantastic spacious lodge just needs a few little improvements to give it that 5 star experience

  Liked: Property is very spacious and well furnished. We liked the fact there was 2 bathrooms and the fact there is a door separating the living area from the bedrooms

  Disliked: The bed in the main bedroom was uncomfortable due to the quality or age of the mattress. There was a few small things that could easily be sorted out like broken toilet brush in the bathroom, limited glasses in the cupboard, no hand soap in the main bathroom and the washing up liquid had been watered down. The outside of the lodge and not been cleaned in sometime and the exterior was full of cobwebs.
