  Enjoyed the food, drink and friendly staff

  Liked: The staff were attentive and really welcoming. We were late for our dinner reservation but they were happy to accomodate nonetheless. They were knowledable about the menu, brewery, history of the mill and surrounding area. Excellent! The food was much better than anticipated and reasonably priced. I had the fish and chips. Fresh haddock in home made super crispy batter and home cut / cooked chips. My friend had a generous pork chop which was tasty and succulent with cripsy crackling. Extensive range of ale and beers, some of which were brewed onsite. There was also a good choice at breakfast - we both had the Eggs royale. Very satisfied with all the food, drink and customer service.

  Disliked: Although included in the room description, the attic room (no.5) had slightly more restricted headroom on one side of the room than expected which meant you needed to be careful not to bang your head getting out of one side of the double bed. Some EV chargers in the carpark would encourage me to return.
