Liked: The location
Disliked: Where the reception was at the end of the bar, got given the wrong keys and someone else had belonging in their, the fact that you had to cross the road to get to your room. And it wasn't maned after 11pm, just didn't feel safe
Cosy warm stay despite storm Buelo we were able to enjoy the Lake District
Liked: Breakfast was lovely, room was nice comfy and warm, after giving the hotel our car reg there was no problem coming n going and we were able to park there the whole of the final day after checking out, this is a bonus in the Lake District where parking can be a problem.
Really good value for money
Liked: Breakfast is nice. Excellent location - just near the lake and a short walk from Ambleside Pier

Disliked: Remote, no reception in the building. Room at top of stairs very noisy and door slamming at all times. Room decor looked tired. Stayed before and there was a lounge for games and a bar.had to go across road for a drink. It rained a lot in September.
