Liked: The staff were all lovely, nothing was too much trouble. The room was clean and beautifully appointed. We decided to have our evening meal there. Couldn't fault it. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast didn't disappoint either. There was a wide choice to enjoy. The chef is outstanding. We also really enjoyed the walks around the estate. We will definitely book again.

Disliked: There was a family staying with two children in the room below. Unfortunately the noise from the children running wild until late into the night really disturbed our sleep! So much so my partner got dressed and knocked on their room door to ask them to curb the noise. They didn't answer! but they must have realised they were disturbing guests because the racket didn't continue. Just inconsiderate guests unfortunately!

Comfortable room, excellent breakfast, dinner only average and dining room remote to room

    Liked: Breakfast was excellent

Disliked: My dinner of burger and sticky toffee pudding was very good, however, my wife had chicken and mushroom pie of which was very poorly filled and mainly just pastry accompanied by Kale as a vegetable which was and inedible, she had Bakewell pudding for dessert of which the dish was roasting but the contents were warm at best. Also our bedroom must have been 200 metres and several flights of stairs to the restaurant and wife walks with 2 elbow crutches.
