  Staff were excellent. Nothing was too much trouble

  Liked: The property was great, the room was cozy, but nice. It had a new bathroom with roll top bath. However it was very high and didn’t have a handle to hep you out of it. For older guests this could be a problem.

  Disliked: The property is on a very steep hill and was hard to walk up.

  Lovely place to stay

  Liked: It was peaceful and quiet.

  Disliked: Its a bit of a walk to find anywhere so had to use the car for everything and parking is very small on site

  Amazing service, stunning rooms

  Liked: We stayed here as part of our honeymoon road trip. We were upgraded, and the hotel room was fantastic with stunning views. We were greeted with a towel animal, roses and a card. The staff were friendly. The food was tasty.

  Liked: I liked the staff, who were very friendly and attentive. The location is also perfect as it is equidistant and and within walking distance of both Windermere and Bowness on Windermere. The food and drink in the hotel were excellent and the views from the main function rooms of the hotel are stunning.

  Disliked: The beds are a little soft and slightly uncomfortable but were ok. I would like to see more info about the area within the hotel, that would be helpful and also a point.of interest.

  5 star breakfast!

  Liked: 5 star breakfast! The two Scotish ladies were warm n welcoming. Vege breakfast with poached egg was perfect! In fact, thr whole team looked after me and the dog from start to finish. Thanks, Mr O'Sullivan Garden room 2, 17th till 18th Oct

  Disliked: Price point needs a review, it was £125 for room plus another £20 for dog, maybe have a think of a combo fee?

  Perfect setting, lovely hotel and staff

  Liked: Beautifully appointed rooms and spotlessly clean. Great food, we had a dinner and the breakfast both excellent. Friendly and helpful staff. Thank you!
