  Comfortable, clean and cost effective guest house with friendly helpful staff. Would recommend

  Liked: Simple continental breakfast, but absolutely fine for me! Rooms were clean and comfortable. The star of the show was the owner, who efficiently sorted out some booking problems (entirely my fault). She was extremely kind and could not have been more helpful.

  Disliked: Nothing could have been done better.

  I dont recommend this hotel to young and non German speaking people

  Liked: Big bathroom and big bed

  Disliked: The hostess was very unfriendly towards me. She refused to talk any other language than German, luckily I had a person who spoke German so it was easier. We were reminded a couple of times that i had to pay the tourist fee and that I had to leave the room by 11:00 at checkout (I knew all of this). Also when my friend came over to visit in my room, the hostess was very rude to her and acting like my friend was sleeping over. Will definitely visit Baden again but will avoid this hotel for sure.

  Good value for money but unusual attitude from the host

  Liked: We booked this pension for a quick and easy access to a wedding venue where we needed to be on the second day of our stay. We stayed 2 nights in total. The room and other facilities were comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was sufficient for a B&B stay and for the price we paid. We appreciated the complimentary vouchers to the public swimming pool. The lady serving breakfast was helpful and polite. All in all, the pension offered everything we needed for our short stay.

  Disliked: - It was a bit unusual to be instructed by the lady owner at what temperature we should be using the air-conditioning in our room (we might understand the reason but found it highly inappropriate). - There was no complimentary water or kettle in the room (the coffee in the hallway was offered at 1 Euro which is hardly seen around the world). - On our last day while we were still packing, at 10:40 we were reminded by a phone call from the lady owner that we needed to vacate by 11:00 (we were fully aware of the check-out time and were made to feel unwelcome by such strange attitude from the host.) - The location is far from the centre (Baden is great and we want to return to explore it more but we will definitely book a different hotel).
