Exceptional
Charming and very comfortable historic apartment
Liked: We loved the apartment. It’s in a beautifully maintained historic property with a gorgeous wooden ceiling. The bedroom particularly is cosseting and characterful. The bed is supremely comfortable. The location could not be better: central but out of the busiest part. There’s a good baker two minutes down the road and a well stocked shop five minutes in the other direction. Don’t worry about the road in front: it’s more or less pedestrianised with only about 10 vehicles passing every day. Beautiful views of the lake with all its changing moods. So glad we stayed here and would love to return. Sandra is a great host. Hallstatt is probably the most beautiful place we’ve been and we’re seasoned travellers.

Great experience, would book again
Liked: The property was located right on the lakeside and easy to locate and the room was well cleaned before arrival. The commute to key attractions was at a walkable distance. The host was helpful and available for assistance throughout the stay.
Would absolutely, definitely, without question stay here again
Liked: The location could not have been better. You wake up in the morning, open the door and there's the lake. Walk either direction out the front door and you have things to do and places to eat. The place is spotless. Sandra could not have been friendlier, more helpful or more responsive. Really excellent.
Disliked: You're staying in a house that most tourists stop to take photos of. This was actually kind of funny and I had some nice chats with people taking photos of "my" house. But you should expect that mornings you'll have people walking just outside your windows and you'll hear some people talking or dragging suitcases. Only a problem if you're someone that expects to sleep in until 10am.
An absolute gem of a find, comfortable, amazing host and amazing lovation. Would highly recommend
