  Wonderful location but suite not meeting expectations

  Disliked: Small bed rooms only to be reached with very steep stairs. One of bedrooms can only be ventilated by opening an outside door There is no air conditioning. Kitchen is small kitchenette with small hotel mini fridge. Hottub likely caused severe skin infection at one of our family members Staff communication about luggage shuttle options not clear and timely so we handled the walk to p1 parking ourselves.

  Liked: The room is great and the staff working there were very welcoming.

  Disliked: The person in charge of communicating through Booking.com was unfortunately not very welcoming, which was in stark contrast to the otherwise pleasant experience. When booking the room, we selected the option to pay later, and there was no clear indication that payment had to be completed within 24 hours. The following day, I received messages from the hotel saying that my card could not be charged. This was because my bank had temporarily blocked the transaction as an unknown merchant, rather than an issue with the card itself. What I found particularly disappointing was the tone of the response. Instead of simply explaining the payment issue, the person wrote: “Your card was not chargeable, this is always embarrassing.” I found this unnecessarily rude and unprofessional, especially as the payment issue was not caused by any action on my part. I subsequently verified the hotel with my bank and asked whether they could let me know when they would attempt the payment again, so that I could make sure the transaction would not be blocked. Instead, I was simply sent a payment link with the message: “Pay the full amount now.” The issue could have been resolved very easily with a more professional and courteous approach. Clearer information about the payment deadline at the time of booking, together with more respectful communication afterwards, would have made a significant difference.

  Stay away! Literally some of the worst service we have received

  Liked: Location and views, overall all space for compact town

  Disliked: Staff, service, value all just absolutely terrible. Do yourself a favor an book any of the other wonderful, actually locally run options that have the same views and space for 1/3 the cost and better customer service.

  Liked: The lake view and staff friendliness. However the admin people were rude in dealing our complaint.

  Disliked: Accommodation description and photos did not match what we booked for and were misleading. Our booking confirmation described the room to have a terrace overlooking the lake which was not the case. Very disappointingly the admin people were condescending and brushed off our complaint.
