Exceptional
Was a delightful, quaint, pension, and lovely people who ran it would definitely recommend if you want a low budget away
Liked: Lovely homely pension. Breakfast was great! Low season so was quiet & away from the action at the lakeside!
Disliked: My fault selected a single bed
Liked: The staff downstairs were all great, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. The rooms on the first floor were clean, pretty spacious with a nice sitting area and small balcony towards the front of the hotel. The bed was large and comfy enough.
Liked: It was an easy walk to town and away from the main tourist area. The property has a beautiful garden and pool. It’s also close to nature walks.
Hallstatt is stunning. Location is good. Hotel is a little old but reasonable for the price
Liked: Location was good for parking. Close to the heart of Hallstatt.
Disliked: The pillows were too big. More for decoration. Had to ask for water in the room and cups. Very continental breakfast. Shame everyone put their hands all over the food. (Potentially unique to our visit) If travelling to Austria for hiking and skiing, this would be a great location.

Liked: It felt like we were living in a fairytale. The property, staff & location fit the occasion! My daughter & I made memories to last a lifetime!
Disliked: Was a little hot with no airflow in the room but the weather was extremely warm so to be expected without AC
