Fabulous
A different kind of place, but it is fine for a night or two
Liked: Location. Spacious. Kitchen was very well appointed
Disliked: The lights that turned on automatically. Lack of a sink in the toilet area.
Good location
Liked: A good location, not too far from ferry. Great view out bedroom window. Perfect for 1 night.
Disliked: We were not given check in details until we chased up after 3pm. It should be on Airbnb not booking. Com. No communication about check out.
Liked: The apartment is below street level (it may look different in the photos), but it is a slope by the lake, so this is normal. There is too little natural light in the living room and kitchen, but you probably didn't come to this city to hide in apartments:) The inside is clean, although the apartment has a strange layout, it has all the necessary amenities. The apartment is a bit further from the city center, so there are fewer tourists around. It is possible to go down the stairs right to the lake, passing other houses, but it is not clear whether this is legal (there are no gates) and whether it does not violate private territory, so the apartment description should mention this. It is impossible to get there by car, but from the P1 parking lot (which is a couple of kilometers away) there is a free (conditionally, because parking costs 20 EUR per day) bus every half hour. It does not always take you right to the apartments, you still have to walk a good distance. There are other parking lots in the city, but probably only the bus from P1.
Disliked: The kettle is not working properly (it turns off before the water has boiled), so it should be replaced immediately. There is no balcony or terrace with a view of the city or lake, don't be fooled by one of the review in Google maps which is incorrect (most likely dedicated to another apartment).
Beautiful Spot to Stay!
Liked: The location of this apartment is amazing. The view from the bedroom is lovely. The hotel shuttle service was handy and easy to use. Loved the beautiful town, very worthwhile visiting when in Austria.
Disliked: It was very hot when we were there. There was no aircon and just one very old, noisey fan in the bedroom. The cleanliness of the kitchen utensils could also be improved upon.

Liked: This is a beautiful apartment with careful attention to every detail. It’s like living in a Wes Anderson film with many gems to be discovered. Great communication. Great location. Would definitely stay here again!
Liked: The location is perfect. literally just 20 seconds walk from the famous photo spot for the pana view of Hallstatt, which means you can easily take a walk to the viewpoint when the weather is good and when there are less crowds (early morning or after sunset)
