Exceptional
great location outside Innsbruck, next to nature, easy to get on bus to town
Liked: great location, the bus runs every 10 minutes to the center of town (bus J) very convenient nice facility please note that checkin was listed at 7 pm but Valerie was very accomodating by letting us in early on our visit
The location was amazing, halfway up the mountain on the way to the Top of Innsbruck, with breathtaking views every morn
Liked: The location was absolutely amazing, perfectly situated halfway up the mountain on the way to the Top of Innsbruck. The views were simply breathtaking! Waking up every morning to such magnificent mountain scenery was an unforgettable experience. A truly beautiful and peaceful place to stay!
Disliked: Communication with the host was extremely disappointing. They only responded by email and ignored phone calls, even from Booking.com. Arranging arrival before 7 PM was unnecessarily stressful, especially given the mountain location and frequent fog. The lack of flexibility and communication made the experience very frustrating.
Memorable stay at a beautiful property
Liked: Beautiful, well maintained property with scenic balcony and well stocked essentials. Cozy, comfortable beds with clean and tidy covers. Clear instructions for checking into the property. Convenient connections via public transport. Responsive and approachable host.
Disliked: We found the sudden visits by the host to the property somewhat unusual (did not experience this yet). If you are not used to reading a lot, the property "rule book" can be a bit overwhelming (the "rules" are mostly common sense and no problem as long as the property is used properly). Washing machine and Vacuum cleaner would have been helpful. During our stay, the shower in the hall bathroom did not maintain temperature. It continuously cycled between too hot and too cold. However, as we had 3 bathrooms, this was manageable.
We had a wonderful weekend in this grand house and beautiful location, many thanks to Valerie!
Liked: They were kind enough to be flexible with when I could check-in, and let us access the apartment at our convenience the day of check-in!
Liked: We liked that the flat had parking and a spectacular view and great porch. There were enough bathrooms and the kitchen was well-supplied. We especially liked the high-end coffee maker.
Disliked: The "Welcome Letter" was aggressive and unwelcoming (actually threatened renters with legal fees for leaving negative reviews if the owner felt they were unwarranted). The listing implies a ski in-ski out flat, but that is only true for a very limited period for one small ski area IF there is snow (which there wasn't). Otherwise, it is a 40-60 minute drive to other ski areas. Access into town is easy on the funicular, but it is also very expensive for each trip (14 euro per person). The listing does not lie, but it is also a bit misleading. Outdoor parking space is roomy but cluttered with empty pots, lawn equipment, etc. Be aware that check in is not until 7 pm, though the host was able to accommodate an earlier check in when I asked.
Great stay, perfect location
Liked: Amazing location! Absolutely perfect for New Year’s Eve watching all the fireworks over the city. Comfortable beds and all very clean
Disliked: Lounge is small and not all that nice for relaxing
