  Beautiful hotel in an excellent location

  Great location, lovely people, strange bathroom

  Tricky review to write. Lots of pros and cons

  Liked: The views from our balcony were stunning (room 17). The place was clean and traditional. The beds were comfortable. The J bus, very close by, is great for reaching Innsbruck old town. Breakfast was plentiful, tasty and fresh. The restaurant soups were very good.

  Disliked: The staff were purely functional in approach, not very friendly. It felt like the business was run with efficiency but not any love or joy. The glass front to the bathroom is very odd, meaning no sound or visual privacy. Food in the restaurant was hit and miss. The pizza was wet and tasteless. Staff made excuses when we told them.

  Liked: Staff were lovely and attentive! Beautiful views, a bus stop is located just at the back of the hotel and the bus runs every 10 mins or so to get into the town, cable cart is also located outside the hotel for those wanting to go up the mountain. Food was big portions and reasonable price wise! Lovely stay, will definitely visit again if we go back to Innsbruck:)
