Disliked: Very old and dated. Kitchen it terrible, washing machines are broken. Has no vibe for a hostel. Could easily be fixed for a few thousand dollars but staff or owner seem uninterested. They must be making huge profits as the amenities are very ordinary for the high dormitory price.

Liked: It was clean, close to the tram stop, good breakfast

Disliked: Nothing to complain about. Except the pillow was too flat

Liked: The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options and plenty of food to choose from. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming, which made the stay more enjoyable.

Disliked: The accommodation was quite small, and there were very few power outlets, which was a bit inconvenient. Also, the bathroom door was directly opposite the room entrance, making the layout feel a little awkward. Overall, the stay was okay, but there is definitely room for improvement.

Cigarette smoke in the room, dirty toilets, loud breakfast

Liked: The building is close to a tram line from the main train station and has late check in.

Disliked: After I checked in and went upstairs to my floor, the entire corridor smelled strongly of cigarettes. Clearly, someone, most likely a guest, had smoked. Unfortunately, the smell seeped through the vent in the door which was level with my upper bunk bed. The bunk bed itself was of the dangerous kind to climb up as the holding rail was not easy to grip for smaller persons with short arms. The shared toilets were in a horrible condition (one had urine on seat, the other cigarette butts in the bowl). I could not see if the shared bathrooms were mixed or divided by genders and the shared shower was see-through with a curtain that had seen better days. Breakfast was a very loud affair in a large dining hall with a strong echo. About 80 people were talking and walking around, it felt more like a festival than a place to quietly wake up and start the day without sensory overload. When I talked to reception about the smoke in the room, they offered another dorm but that was mixed, not a female dorm. When I asked for my money back because I wanted to check out early mainly due to the cigarette smoke, the receptionist refused, even though they could and should get the money back from whoever is likely to have caused that smoke. The hostel has a bad rating and I now understand why. I stayed in many hostels in my life but this was seriously the worst. Also annoying is the fact that they only accept cash and even have their own ATM in the building!

    A good value for money

Liked: The cozy rooms, staff is good, and is safe.

Disliked: Just one fridge for the whole hostel, and it was bit hard to find a place to store the food.

Liked: Staff, breakfast, cityticket offer were good. Supermarkt is nearby and tram stop is very closed.

Disliked: Facility is quite old, location is far from center (but reachable by trams)
