  Great place and great host

  Liked: Located about a 20 minute walk from old town and close to central rail station so was perfect. Lovely outlook and apartment was very well maintained. Emil met us and ran through some things and was super friendly and the mist helpful host.

  Lovely place in a lovely town

  Liked: Amazing location made us fall in love with Innsbruck! Location is great since it is so close to everything. Next to the place is a pretty good sized mall and right behind is a park. Views from the room is also great and of course the host and helpers are really friendly. Apartment also comes with everything you could need for a stay there. Definitely recommended and will try to come back here as well!

  Exceptional

  Liked: Our staying experience was amazing 😍😊 The apartment is accommodated perfectly, with everything you need, clean and comfortable. The location is beautiful, in the centre of the town, great view from the balcony!! Panoramic windows 👍🏻 The owner is so helpful and kind) Gave us a lot of great recommendations for visiting, so many cool places. Even got a pleasant present for us 😊 Thank you so much, we’ll definitely return the next time!!)

  Scary - host let himself in with no prior warning or reason

  Liked: Nina met us and gave us the keys & a run through of the apartment. Nina was very nice, friendly & helpful. I wish Nina was the person that we got to deal with for the duration of our stay.

  Disliked: As we had never stayed in Austria before, we had contacted the host Emil & asked if tourist tax & city tax were the same thing & if we were required to pay for both. We had already paid the €200 cash deposit so Emil had the money required for both taxes. For some reason, this simple question was not answered via message & caused Emil, to let himself into the property with no prior warning or reason, shouting at me that we needed to pay. I asked Emil if he made it a habit of letting himself into his property while he rented it out to people & he said he could do 'whatever he wanted'. Emil spoke down to me & kept telling me to be quiet when I was asking him to leave as he was making me very uncomfortable. I had to run out to the balcony to get the men of our group to handle the situation as I was alone in the kitchen & Emil was being very scary & I felt very unsafe. When we were all in the kitchen together, he would listen to the men, and when I (a woman) starting talking he kept holding his palm up to my face saying 'be quiet, be quiet'. The following morning, we received a text from Emil saying 'be very careful about what you smoke on the balcony'. How does he know what we are doing on the balcony? Does he have cameras in his apartment that he did not disclose, or was he spying on us? This also made us all feel very uneasy & worried that our privacy was being invaded. Finally, I have made a complaint to booking.com advising that the host entered the property with no prior warning or reason, and they have been incredibly unhelpful. I have video footage of Emil yelling at me & this was not enough evidence. The booking.com manager advised that entering property with no explicit permission is not cause for worry or any type of compensation. Stay here at your own risk, especially as you will receive no support from booking.com.
