  Very nice downtown Bruges hotel

  Liked: Very good breakfast buffet. Perfectly situated for exploring downtown Bruges. Nice room and hotel. Helpful and friendly staff.

  Disliked: parking problematical. Limited on site (charge) though public parking garages available a reasonable walk away.

  Perfect stay in the heart of beautiful Brugges

  Liked: Location was perfect for us just off the main tourist trail and right near the canal. Elegant communal areas with a nice bar and an inviting atmosphere. The top floor room was spacious, very clean and well equipped and had a very comfortable bed - we all slept very well. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We couldn’t book parking at the hotel but there was a secure car park within 350m and it was reasonably priced.

  Disliked: The cost of breakfast was a little steep so we declined. But, there are so many local cafés and restaurants around it wasn’t a problem.

  Lovely hotel, great location, beautiful city

  Liked: The staff were very warm, welcoming and personable, easy to chat to and made our stay memorable - we were returning after 31 years for our 25th wedding anniversary. The spa area (steam and sauna) smelled amazing and was very relaxing. Even though there were only 4 beds, on both occasions, we were the only people there so wasn't a problem. Breakfast was varied fresh and plentiful - lovely selection of fresh fruits, breads, cold meats/cheeses/salmon, granolas, pancakes/waffles/cakes/pastries as well as usual hot cooked options to name a few. Bed was spacious and comfortable. The location was perfect - easy to get to all main tourist attractions within an easy 10 minute walk or less.

  Disliked: Our room (305) had very stained carpet, wallpaper was coming away and I hit my head on the slanted wall a number of times because the bed was too close to the wall (but no other option for different configuration). Think it's time for a refresh. The door seal was non existent letting light in on all sides and allowing every little sound in the corridor to be heard.
