Nice enough lodging, but they shouldn't allow check-in after midnight

Liked: Liked the location and the dorm rooms were spacious. There was a good bar and lots of seating and a nice kitchen.

Disliked: I mistakenly reserved a bed in a four person dorm not a female only dorm. When I checked in, I told them I'd be uncomfortable in a room with men. They advised me that all was well because a woman named Christina had booked the other beds in that room starting the next day. (so I had the room to myself the first day). But imagine my surprise when just after midnight, the door to the room opened and two men walked in! Although they were nice, they did take an hour and a half to get settled and they snored all night, so I was unable to sleep. when I asked about this switch the next day, I was advised that this sometimes happened and no apology was offered.

  Fantastic atmosphere, facilities, and accomodation

Liked: Facilities were excellent. Storing bags before check in was a life saver. Staff were friendly and helpful. Dorm rooms were clean and spacious. Outlet charging access from the bed. Cupboard lockers were good sized and had shelves for convenience. The bar was well priced and showers were clean and well sized. Snuffel is deserving of its booking.com reviews.

Disliked: I paid for breakfast and selection was very limited. That being said, I got my moneys worth from the complimentary orange juice and coffee
